The Pillow Book (枕草子) is a collection of essays, anecdotes and poems written by Sei Shōnagon while she was in service as court lady to Empress Consort Teishi during the middle Heian period in Japan.

She wrote The Pillow Book as a way for her to express her inner thoughts and feelings which she was not allowed to display publicly due to her lowly position in the court. Originally intended as her private endeavor, the work later became a famous piece of literature throughout the centuries.

Sailor introduces the third release in the Pillow Book series, Professional Gear Winter Sky, with inspirations drawn from a description of the morning sky in winter. This special edition captures the feel of a fresh winter’s morning with the gentlest of lilac colours set against frosty, white gold accents.
