Visconti presents Athena, the latest addition to the Mirage Mythos collection. Turquoise is the colour sacred to Athena, goddess “with light blue eyes” capable of discerning truth even in the darkest night. The goddess of wisdom and classical culture, born from the mind of her father Zeus, she is also known as Glaukopis or “bright-eyed” in classical texts.
Following previous editions Apollo, Zeus and Aphrodite, the Athena Mirage is available as fountain pen, rollerball pen and ballpoint. The turquoise-coloured vegetal resin features reflection highlighted by hollows originating from light effects, creating an illusive object. The modern design is accented by Visconti’s iconic arc clip and gold plated trims. The cap closes with a magnetic closure that does not rotate or move when closed. The fountain pen comes with a German-made steel nib (available in F, M or B) that is smooth and precise for enjoyable writing. Fills via cartridge/converter.
