The Platinum 3776 Century Shape of a Heart “Ivoire” limited edition fountain pen is the second edition in the #3776 Century “Shape of Heart” series. Just like the first model, it features two heart-shaped pieces (each piece approximately 1.3mm) created when punching out the breather hole in the nib, placed in a transparent dome on the pen’s finial with zirconia. While the heart-shaped cutouts are normally melted down and put back into making more nibs, the Shape of Heart fountain pen incorporates them into a pen’s design.
This second edition features two heart-shaped 14k gold pieces applied with rhodium plating placed in the dome. The nib (availablein EF, F and M), clip and the metal parts are also embellished with a rhodium finish while the body is applied with blasting to give a white matte finish. The contrast with the overall luster of the pen further accentuates the dome of the crown, representing a design unique to the limited model, which is not available in the regular product lineup.
