A modern interpretation of heritage from Platinum Pen, the Travia brings together “Tradition” and “Via” — a path forward built on decades of the iconic Platinum #3776 Century.
Finished with a sleek black body, black metal trims, and a ruthenium-coated 14K gold nib, the Travia offers a refined, contemporary look suited for both everyday writing and professional settings.
At its core is the FLAF nib (“Float Like A Feather”). True to its name, it delivers a light, floating writing sensation across the paper, while maintaining excellent control. The nib responds smoothly and proportionately to writing pressure, allowing for subtle, natural line variation — from gentle strokes to stops, flicks, and sweeps — exactly as intended by the writer.
Available in Fine (F) and Medium (M) nib sizes.
The pen features a long flat-top body with an integrated metal balancer, shifting the center of gravity closer to the fingertips for a stable and comfortable writing experience. It is also equipped with Platinum’s signature Slip & Seal Mechanism, keeping ink fresh and ready to write even after extended periods of non-use.
Limited to 2,000 sets worldwide, each set includes a commemorative booklet, “Ah, Fifty Years of Hardship” by Platinum’s founder Shunichi Nakata — offering a deeper insight into the brand’s history and philosophy.
